Mobile home certifications (silver label)
If you’re buying or selling a mobile home in BC, you may have heard the term “Silver Label”. This label is affixed at the factory before the home is shipped to site and it indicates that all systems were installed to meet CSA safety requirements. CSA approval on manufactured homes is very important, and in BC, it is prohibited to sell a manufactured home without this CSA approved label. If the label is no longer present, or any additions or alterations have been made to the electrical system, it will need to be re-certified and have a new Silver Label affixed by Technical Safety BC. We’ll perform a thorough safety check and correct all deficiencies to ensure the occupants safety and peace of mind.
